Right thats the introduction now lets get down to the first danglers summer league match.
The venue was Dunwich and with the excitement of the new summer league 13 potential blankers turned up to try and keep the danglers tradition going, but alas a silent star from out newmarket way slayed an eel first cast, well an air of confidence rippled along the beach. But that was it for 3 hours until darkness come, luggy,shez,mel,dingit and little dingit called it a day an hour before the end. Little did they know there was going to be a surge of fish at the end young Taylor caught a nice whiting which got him a single junior fish point, three other fish were weighed in. We had a very enjoyable evening with plenty of chatter and banter so it was a normal danglers match but 5 weighers is some sort of record for 2011. Full results are below.
